Reward Customers for Leaving Photo or Video Reviews or Text review

Introduction

Encouraging customers to share photo or video reviews helps build trust, showcase real product experiences, and increase conversions. By rewarding customers for leaving photo or video reviews, you can motivate high-quality, authentic content while strengthening customer engagement. This article explains how to set up rewards for photo and video reviews and how this activity works within your loyalty program.

Note: To award points for leaving a photo or video review, ensure that the Product Reviews module is enabled and the photo and video review settings are turned on. To learn more, Click here.

Here are the steps for rewarding customers for leaving photo or video reviews:


Step 2: Go to Leave a review, enable it, and click on the edit icon




Step 3: Enable the button according to your preference for uploading photos or videos.



Now the customer will get the point of uploading media


You can also enable showing reward information on the front store




It will be shown in the front store as shown in the image below:



Important Notes

  1. Points for photo or video reviews are awarded only if the Product Reviews module is enabled and photo/video review options are turned on.
  2. Customers can earn points only after their review is successfully submitted.
  3. If moderation is enabled, points may be awarded only after the review is approved, based on your settings.
  4. Each customer can earn points once per review submission, unless otherwise configured.
  5. Points awarded for reviews follow the same expiry and usage rules as regular loyalty points.
