Give Loyalty Points To Customers On Product Review

Introduction

Rewarding customers for leaving product reviews is a great way to encourage feedback, build trust, and improve your store’s credibility. By giving loyalty points to customers when they submit product reviews, you can motivate more customers to share their experiences while strengthening engagement with your brand. This article explains how to set up loyalty points for product reviews and how this activity works within your loyalty program.

Step 1: From the sidebar navigation menu, go to Loyalty Rewards > Setup Program > Earn Points.


Step 2: Click on Leave a review under the online store category.

Notes

Note:

1.) The points will only be provided to the customer when they have purchased an order and given a review on that product

2.) The points will be provided only once per product



Make your settings and click save/update. Please note that if you want to, you can assign additional points to customers for leaving a review with pictures.





Important Notes

  1. Loyalty points are awarded only after a customer has purchased the product and submitted a review for it.
  2. Points are granted once per product per customer, even if multiple reviews are submitted.
  3. If review moderation is enabled, points may be awarded only after the review is approved, depending on your settings.
  4. Photo and video review points can be configured separately from text review points.
  5. Reward points follow the same expiry and usage rules as regular loyalty points.
  6. Changes made to review reward settings apply to future reviews only.
  7. Reward information will appear on the storefront only if the “Show reward information” option is enabled.
