Introduction

Redeeming loyalty points allows customers to turn the points they’ve earned into real rewards such as discounts, free products, or special offers. A smooth redemption experience helps increase customer satisfaction and encourages repeat purchases.

In this article, you’ll learn how customers can redeem loyalty points using the AiTrillion Loyalty Rewards Program. We’ll walk through the step-by-step process—from logging in and viewing available points to selecting rewards and applying the discount at checkout—so you can ensure a seamless and rewarding experience for your customers.


Idea
Note: Ensure that Loyalty Earn Points, Redeem Points, and the Loyalty Popup widget are set up to redeem loyalty points.

Here are the steps to redeem loyalty points:

Step 1: The Customer will need to log in to your store and click on the loyalty rewards button. In case they are not logged in, they will not see their points.




Step 2: Once logged in, upon clicking the button, your customers will be able to see available rewards in this tab with the details like - Available points, Pending points, Lifetime points and Claimed rewards.




Step 3: Your customer can then click on get rewards / redeem points to redeem their points. On the rewards points tab, customers will get options for eligible rewards to redeem the points. Customers need to click on Redeem points button.




Step 4: Click on the Yes button in the confirmation pop-up.



Step 5: After getting a reward, the customer will have a unique discount coupon code that can be used at checkout to get a discount.



Now, Customers can apply the coupon code at the checkout page to receive the discount and place the order.

Important Notes

  • Customers must have sufficient available points to redeem a reward.

  • Redeemed points are deducted immediately once the reward is confirmed.

  • Each redeemed reward generates a unique discount code that can be used at checkout.

  • Discount codes are valid only for the configured conditions (minimum purchase, product applicability, etc.).

  • Points redemption may vary depending on the reward type (amount discount, percentage off, free product, or product discount).

  • If an order is canceled or refunded, redeemed points may be reverted based on your loyalty settings.
