Manually adjust Loyalty Points

Introduction

Manually adjusting loyalty points allows you to correct, add, or deduct points for customers when needed. This is especially useful in cases such as order cancellations, refunds, customer support resolutions, or when points are awarded or redeemed incorrectly.

In this article, we’ll walk you through how to manually adjust loyalty points in AiTrillion, helping you maintain accurate point balances, ensure fairness in your loyalty program, and provide a better customer experience while managing exceptions efficiently.


Here are the steps to manually adjust the customer’s Loyalty Points -:

Step 1: Go to Loyalty Rewards >> Members >> Loyalty members




Step 2: Find the customer for whom you want to add/remove points and click on their email id.



Step 3: A popup will appear asking for the points and reasons. Enter the number of points you want to Add and input the reason behind this.



To remove points, please enter the specific number of points you would like to deduct.


Step 4: Any points added or removed will be visible in the history area.

Note: You can also show pending points details to the customer. To show the pending points - Click here

Important Notes:

  1. Manually adjusted points (added or removed) are reflected immediately in the customer’s loyalty wallet.
  2. Any points added or deducted manually will be recorded in the History section with the reason provided, ensuring transparency and audit tracking.
  3. Removed points cannot exceed the customer’s available points balance.
  4. Manually adjusted points follow the same rules as regular points, including expiry settings, if point expiry is enabled.
