Send email to a single Customer or list

Introduction

Sending emails to a single customer or a selected list of customers is useful when you want to share targeted updates, provide personalized support, or run one-to-one or small-group communication. With this feature, you can easily send emails to an individual customer or a specific customer list without creating a full campaign. This helps ensure your message reaches the right audience at the right time with relevant content.

Here's a step-by-step guide for sending emails to a single customer:

Step 1: Go to Customers >> List

Step 2: Create a new list by clicking on the Create option.

Step 3: Now, add the Internal Name, External Name, and Description (Optional) of the list and click on the Save or Update button.

Step 4: From the sidebar, go to Customers >> All customers and click on the Full name of a single customer whom you want to add to the list to sent a email.
Notes
Note: If the customer’s full name is not available, click View details or search the customers using the available filters.

Step 5. Now, click on the List tab, and then click on the Add to List button as shown below in the snapshot.

Step 6: Now, select the list that you have created and click on Save to proceed.

Step 7: You can now use this list for email campaigns to the single customer or the customers available in the list. To learn how to send email campaigns click here. You can also exclude the customers available in a single list by adding the list to exclude audience tab.

NotesNote: You can use this KB to generate a list of internal users to test out your campaigns too!

Important Notes:

  1. You must create a customer list first before sending an email to a single customer or a selected group.
  2. While creating a list, the Internal Name is mandatory, while the External Name and Description are optional.
  3. Ensure the correct customer is selected by clicking the full name from the customer list.
  4. A customer must be added to the list using the Add to list option before proceeding.
  5. Always save the selected list after adding customers to ensure the changes are applied.
  6. The created list can be reused for future email campaigns without creating a new list each time.
  7. Changes made to a list will affect all campaigns that use that list going forward.
  8. Verify the list selection carefully to avoid sending emails to the wrong customer or audience.
  9. This feature can also be used to create a test list of internal users for validating email campaigns before sending them to real customers.
