Set up a reminder for loyalty point expiry

1.) Point expiry will work on future orders after it is enabled

2.) If you reduce the date for point expiry, the scheduled email will still trigger at the previously scheduled time.



Here are the steps to set up Loyalty point expiry:



Step 2:  Click on the - Click to setup button.



Step 3: Click on Use your own custom domain and fill in the required details

Step 4: Enable the button and set the days to send reminder emails before expiry. To edit the loyalty point expiry email - Click here




Important Notes

  1. Loyalty point expiry reminders will work only after the Point Expiry feature is enabled in the loyalty program.
  2. Expiry reminders are sent only for future point expirations. After enabling the reminder, previously expired points will not trigger reminder emails.
  3. If the point expiry duration is reduced, any already scheduled reminder emails will still trigger based on the earlier configured schedule.
  4. You can enable multiple reminder emails (for example, first reminder and final reminder) to notify customers at different intervals before expiration.
  5. When using a custom email domain, make sure the DKIM process is completed, otherwise, reminder emails may fail to send.
