Edit Loyalty point expiry reminder mail

Introduction

Loyalty point expiry reminder emails are a vital tool for engaging customers and encouraging them to take action before their points expire. A well-crafted reminder email not only helps retain customer interest but also drives conversions by urging them to redeem their points for rewards.

In this article, we’ll guide you through the steps to effectively edit both the initial loyalty point expiry reminder email and the final reminder email.


Here are the steps to edit the Loyalty point expiry reminder mail:

Step 1: Go to Loyalty rewards >> Set up program >> Point expiry





Step 2: Click on the setup button.



Step 3: Click on the Edit button. For example, I am editing the first reminder email



Step 4: Edit the email as per your needs.




Notes
Note: To add a shortcode, you need to click on Personalization >> click on the shortcode name that you would like to add.





Step 5: Click on Save & Exit, update the email subject and template name as needed, and then click Save & Exit again.



Now, the reminder mail will be sent to the customers



Important Notes:

  1. Loyalty point expiry reminder emails are sent before the points expire, based on the number of days configured in the reminder settings.
  2. Ensure that Point Expiry is enabled in the Loyalty Rewards settings; reminder emails will not be sent if point expiry is disabled.
  3. You can configure and edit multiple reminder emails (for example, first and final reminders) with different schedules and content.
  4. When adding dynamic content (such as points balance or expiry date), make sure to use the available personalization shortcodes correctly.
  5. Always save the email template after editing; unsaved changes will be lost.
