Add Specific Products in Email Template

Introduction:

Customize your email templates by adding specific products with AiTrillion. Engage customers with targeted promotions and highlight key offerings to drive sales and conversions effectively.

Now add the products you want to showcase in an email campaign.

Step 1: Go to Shopify admin >> Click on Products >> Click on Collection >> Click on Add collection.




Step 2: Add the required details and click on Save. The required details are:


  1. Title - Add the title of the collection.
  2. Description - Add the description of the description.
  3. Choose the type of collection - Manual (Recommended) - Add products to this collection one by one, or Smart - Existing and future products that match the conditions you set will automatically be added to this collection.
  4. Metafields - If metafields have been created, you can add them as needed.
You can also set the publishing settings of the collection:
Publishing: Select the location where you want the collection to be displayed. You can deselect all options if you don’t want to show it anywhere other than email campaigns.

Available locations:

  • Online Store

  • Shop

  • Point of Sale

  • Inbox






Step 3: Go to Email marketing >> Templates >> Either click on the Create from scratch button to create a new template, or use the pre-made template or Saved template.




Step 4: Edit the campaign as per your needs and click on the Blocks tab.



Step 5: Drag and drop the product block.



Step 6: Click on Select product type and click on Shopify collection product.



Step 7: Click on the collection that you want to send to the email campaign.



Step 8: Set the product settings as per your requirement
1. Select Product Type: Choose the product type to display. The following types of product type available:
  1. New arrival product - Shows Product which are recently added. This will only work if AiTrillion's product recommendation module is enabled and the new arrival product recommendation is enabled in settings.
  2. Trending product - Displays Product which are most trending or best-selling. This will only work if AiTrillion's product recommendation module is enabled and the Trending product recommendation is enabled in settings.
  3. Recent view product -  Shows products that are recently viewed by the customer. This will only work if AiTrillion's product recommendation module is enabled and the recent view product recommendation is enabled in settings.
  4. Shopify collection products – Displays products from a selected Shopify collection. You need to click on Select Collection to select the specific Shopify collection whose products you want to show in the email (for example, Snowboard).
2. Orientation: Controls how product cards are arranged. Toggle to switch between horizontal and vertical layout (depending on editor behavior).
3. Products in One Row: Defines how many product cards appear in a single row. Use – / + to decrease or increase the number. Recommended: fewer products per row for better readability on smaller screens.
4. Total Number of Rows: Sets how many rows of products will be displayed. Increasing this will show more products from the selected collection.
5. Responsive Block: When enabled, product cards stack one below another on mobile devices. Recommended to keep this enabled for a mobile-friendly experience.
6. Row Padding: Controls spacing around the product row. Left / Right / Top / Bottom – Adjust padding values as needed. Helps improve visual spacing and alignment. Enable More to customize padding individually.
7. Card Background Color: Sets the background color of each product card. Default is transparent, allowing it to blend with the email background.
8. Card Border: Enable this option to add a border around each product card. Useful for separating products visually.

Product Card Composition

Choose which elements appear on each product card and customize their order.

  • Image – Displays the product image.

  • Name – Shows the product title.

  • Price – Displays the product price.

  • Button – Adds a call-to-action button (e.g., Shop Now, View Product).

Each element:

  • Can be enabled or disabled using the toggle.

  • Can be reordered using drag-and-drop.






Important Notes

  • Make sure the selected products are active and available in your Shopify store, inactive or deleted products will not appear correctly.

  • Product details such as image, name, price, and button are automatically fetched from Shopify and updated in real time.

  • If a product is out of stock, it may still appear in the email unless inventory-based rules are applied.

  • Use the Preview and Send Test Email options to verify product visibility and layout before activating the email.

  • Avoid adding too many products to a single email, as this may impact readability and engagement.

  • Keep the Responsive block enabled to ensure proper display on mobile devices.

  • If product data is updated in Shopify after the email is sent, those changes will not reflect in already sent emails.
