Add a Logo in an Email Message

Introduction:

Adding a logo to your email message helps reinforce your brand identity and creates a professional, trustworthy impression for your recipients. With the Email Design Editor, you can easily upload and place your logo in the email header or any section of the template, ensuring consistent branding across all your communications. A well-placed logo improves recognition and enhances the overall visual appeal of your emails.


Here are the steps to add a logo in an email message:


Step 2: Either click on the Create from Scratch button, or use the Pre-made template, or use the Saved template.



Step 3: Click on the Blocks tab.



Step 4: Drag and drop the Logo block.



NotesA logo can only be added if it pre-exists in the AiTrillion system. To learn more about adding a logo, Click Here

Step 5: Edit the logo as per your needs and click on the Save & Exit button.
Image Path: Shows the full path of the image file. This is automatically filled and typically does not require manual changes.

Link: Allows you to make the image clickable.
  • Site: Select this option to redirect users to a website.

  • URL field: Enter the destination link (e.g., a product page or landing page).


Alternate Text: Used to add Alt and Title attributes to the image. Helps with accessibility, also displays text if the image fails to load, and improves email deliverability and SEO
Alignment: Controls how the image is positioned within the email:
  • Left

  • Center

  • Right


Size: Adjusts the image dimensions.
  • Use the plus or minus button to increase or decrease the size.

  • Arrow controls help fine-tune width and height.

  • Ensures the image fits well within the email layout.

Adjust to Width: When enabled, the image automatically adjusts to the width of its container, making it suitable for responsive layouts.
Radius: Adds rounded corners to the image.
  • All: Applies the same radius to all corners.

  • Separately: Customize left, right, top, and bottom with each corner individually.

Responsive Image: When enabled, the image automatically scales based on the screen size. Ensures better display on mobile devices. Works only on devices and email clients that support responsive behavior.
Padding: Adds spacing around the image to improve layout and readability. Helps prevent images from appearing too close to text or other elements.

NotesNote: You can upload only PNG, JPG, and GIF with upload sizes cannot be higher than 20mb.




Step 6: You can also customize the image as per your needs by clicking on the edit button.



When you click on the Edit button, a pop-up will appear, which includes settings:
Open: Upload a new image from your device to start editing.
Save: Save the edited image. The saved image can then be used in your email design.
Zoom: Use the – / + buttons to zoom out or zoom in for better precision while editing.
Undo / Redo: Revert or reapply your last changes while editing the image.
Close: Exit the image editor.

Editing Toolbar Options

Filter: Apply visual filters (such as brightness or color effects) to enhance the image's appearance.
Resize: Change the image dimensions by adjusting width and height.
Crop: Remove unwanted parts of the image by selecting a specific area.
Transform: Rotate or flip the image horizontally or vertically.
Draw: Use freehand drawing tools to highlight or mark areas on the image.
Text: Add custom text on top of the image (useful for banners, offers, or labels).
Shapes: Insert shapes like rectangles, circles, or lines to design callouts or frames.
Stickers: Add prebuilt stickers or icons to make the image more engaging.
Frame: Apply a frame or border around the image.
Corners: Round the image corners for a softer visual look.
Background: Change or add a background behind the image.
Merge: Combine multiple image layers into a single image (enabled when applicable).

Editing Canvas

The central area is the editing canvas, where:

  • The selected image appears

  • You can visually apply and preview all edits in real time





Once done, click on Save changes to continue making edits or Save and Close to close out of the email editing area. Now, customers will receive the emails with the added logo.


Important Notes

  • Supported image formats for logos include PNG, JPG, and GIF.

  • For best results, use a high-quality logo with a transparent background (PNG).

  • Keep the logo file size optimized and under 2MB to ensure faster email loading.

  • Always add Alt Text to the logo for accessibility and in case images are blocked by email clients.

  • Ensure the logo is properly aligned (Left, Center, or Right) to maintain a clean and professional layout.

  • Do not stretch the logo excessively; use the size controls to maintain its original aspect ratio.

  • Test the email using Preview and Send Test Email to check how the logo appears across devices and email clients.

  • Keep sufficient padding around the logo to prevent it from appearing cramped.

  • Changes to the logo will apply only to the current template and will not affect previously sent emails.
