Send Automatic Review Request Emails After Order Fulfillment

Introduction

Timely review requests can significantly increase the chances of receiving valuable customer feedback. By sending automatic review request emails after order fulfillment, you can reach customers when their purchase experience is still fresh.

This automation helps you consistently collect product and store reviews without manual effort, improve customer engagement, and build trust through authentic feedback that supports better conversion rates.


Here are the steps to send an automatic review request email after order fulfillment:





Step 2: 
Click on Enable Review Emails in either the Built-in tab or the Custom HTML tab.



Step 3. Set up the settings according to your needs. The available settings are:

General Settings

  • Enable review emails: Toggle this option to activate or deactivate automatic review request emails.
  • Send after days: Set the number of days after order fulfillment when the email should be sent. This helps ensure customers have enough time to use the product before leaving a review.
  • Update shop logo: Upload or update your store logo to be displayed in the email.

Email Text Settings

These fields allow you to customize the content of your email:

  • Initial: The opening greeting of the email (e.g., Hi {first_name}).
  • Subject: The subject line of the email shown in the customer’s inbox.
  • Click below to rate text: Instructional text prompting customers to rate the product.
  • To submit the review text: Additional guidance text encouraging customers to complete their review.
  • If this email is not displaying correctly, please: Fallback message for email display issues.

Button Settings

  • Click here button text: Text displayed on the call-to-action button.
  • Click here button text color: Color of the button text (HEX code).
  • Click here button background color: Background color of the button (HEX code).

Additional Fields

  • Date: Displays or formats the date included in the email.
  • Store: Displays your store name dynamically in the email.

Email Content

  • Heading: Main message of the email. You can format text and include dynamic variables like:
    • {order_item} – Product name purchased
    • {shop_name} – Store name

NotesNote: The shortcodes cannot be changed. These are predefined shortcodes that can be used with the built-in template.

  • Signature: Closing message of the email.

You can see the preview of your settings on the right-hand side of the review email customization area. Feel free to send a test email from here, too!





Step 4: Once everything has been set up, click on the Save button.

Important Notes

  • Make sure your order status is marked as fulfilled, as review emails are triggered based on fulfillment events.
  • Choose the right delay (Send after days)—sending too early may result in low-quality reviews, while sending too late may reduce response rates.
  • Always customize the email content (subject line, branding, message tone) to match your store’s voice for better engagement.
  • Before going live, use the “Send test email” option to verify design, links, and overall user experience.
  • You can combine review emails with follow-up reminders to increase the chances of collecting more reviews.
