Setup a Replenishment Reminder Workflow

Setup a Replenishment Reminder Workflow

Introduction

Encouraging repeat purchases is essential for sustaining long-term growth, especially for products that need regular replenishment. A Replenishment Reminder Workflow helps you automatically remind customers to reorder products they are likely running out of, based on their previous purchase behavior.

In this article, you will learn how to set up a Replenishment Reminder Workflow. This will help you improve customer retention, increase repeat sales, and provide a timely and personalized shopping experience for your customers.

Here are the steps to setup a replenishment reminder workflow:

Step 2: Click on the Winback tab and then click the “Use Now” button for the Replenishment Reminder template in Workflow Automation.

Step 3: A pop-up will appear asking for confirmation. Click on Yes, use it!

Step 4: The workflow with a trigger, including the default template, will appear. Customize the filters and actions as per your needs.

Step 5: You can change the email template according to your requirements and brand aesthetics by clicking on the link available in the Send email action.

Step 6: Edit the workflow name, set up the throttle settings, and mark the workflow as active by clicking on the Active button.

Now, emails will be sent to customers once they enter the workflow.

Important Notes

  • Ensure the correct trigger (e.g., order placed or product purchase) is configured to accurately identify when customers may need a refill.
  • Set appropriate delay timing based on product usage (e.g., 15, 30, or 60 days) for effective reminders.
  • Customize the email content to include product details, reorder links, and clear call-to-action buttons.
  • Personalize messages based on customer purchase history to improve engagement.
  • Use throttle settings to control how frequently reminder emails are sent.
  • Ensure all product links direct customers to the correct product or checkout page.
  • Monitor performance metrics such as open rates, clicks, and repeat purchases to optimize the workflow.
  • Activate the workflow after setup, otherwise, replenishment reminders will not be sent.
