Set Up Browse Abandonment Workflow | Re-Engage Shoppers with AiTrillion

Setup a Browse Abandoned Workflow

Introduction

Customers often browse products without making a purchase, which creates an opportunity to re-engage them and guide them back to your store. A Browse Abandoned Workflow helps you automatically follow up with customers who viewed products but did not take further action, encouraging them to return and complete their purchase.

In this article, you will learn how to set up a Browse Abandoned Workflow. This will help you recover potential sales, increase conversions, and deliver timely, personalized reminders based on customer browsing behavior.

Here are the steps to setup Browse Abandon workflow:

Step 2: Click on the Abandoned Cart tab and then click the “Use Now” button for the Site browse abandonment template in Workflow Automation.

Step 3: A pop-up will appear asking for confirmation. Click on Yes, use it!

Step 4:  The workflow with a trigger, including the default template, will appear. Customize the filters and actions as per your needs.

Step 5: You can change the email template according to your requirements and brand aesthetics by clicking on the link available in the Send email action.

Step 6: Edit the workflow name, set up the throttle settings, and mark the workflow as active by clicking on the Active
button.

Now, emails will be sent to customers once they enter the workflow.

Important Notes

  • Ensure the correct trigger (e.g., product view or site visit) is configured to accurately track browsing behavior.
  • Set an appropriate delay before sending reminders to avoid appearing too aggressive.
  • Customize the email content to include recently viewed products and clear call-to-action buttons.
  • Personalize messages based on customer browsing activity to improve engagement.
  • Use throttle settings to control how frequently browse abandonment emails are sent.
  • Ensure product links in emails redirect customers to the correct product pages.
  • Monitor performance metrics such as open rates, clicks, and conversions to optimize the workflow.
  • Activate the workflow after setup, otherwise, browse abandonment emails will not be triggered.
