Set a Minimum Character Limit for Reviews

Here are the steps for the minimum character limit on review:




Step 2: Enable the minimum character length for reviews and specify the number of characters allowed for customers.

Important Notes

  • Make sure to enable the minimum character limit toggle, otherwise, the setting will not be applied.
  • Choose a reasonable character limit to encourage detailed feedback without discouraging customers from submitting reviews.
  • If the entered review does not meet the minimum length, an error message will be displayed, and the review cannot be submitted.
  • This setting applies only to new reviews submitted after enabling the feature.
  • Ensure you save/update the settings after making changes.
  • Test the review form on your storefront to confirm the validation is working as expected.
  • Avoid setting the limit too high, as it may reduce the number of reviews submitted.
