Publish Only 4-Star & Above Reviews Automatically

Introduction

Managing customer reviews effectively helps maintain trust while showcasing the best feedback for your store. By enabling auto-publishing for 4-star and above reviews, you can ensure that high-quality, positive reviews are displayed instantly without manual approval. This not only saves time but also helps build credibility by highlighting satisfied customer experiences, while giving you control over lower-rated reviews for further moderation or improvement.


Here are the steps to auto-publish 4-star and above reviews automatically:




Step 2: In the top-right corner, you will see the “Manage Auto-Publish Reviews” button. Click on it, and a small pop-up will appear, which includes the settings below.
Auto Publish Reviews Settings: This section allows you to automatically publish customer reviews based on their star rating, helping you control which reviews appear publicly without manual approval.
  1. Auto Publish Review Toggle: Enable this option to activate automatic publishing. When turned on, selected review ratings will be published instantly.
  2. Select Ratings to Publish Automatically: You can choose which star ratings should be auto-published:
    • ALL: Publishes every review regardless of rating.
    • 5-star to 1-star options: Select specific ratings (e.g., only 4★ and 5★) to auto-publish.
    • You can check multiple options depending on your preference.
      Note:  If only higher ratings (like 4★ and above) are selected, lower-rated reviews will require manual approval. This helps maintain quality while still allowing you to review and respond to negative feedback.





Step 3: Enable the Auto publish review settings and select the 4-star and 5 star reviews.



Now, 5-star and 4-star reviews will be auto-published, while reviews below 4 stars will require approval before being published.


Important Notes

  • Ensure the Auto Publish Review toggle is enabled; otherwise, no reviews will be published automatically.
  • Selecting ALL will publish every review, including low-rated ones, without manual moderation.
  • To maintain quality, it is recommended to select only 4-star and 5-star reviews for auto-publishing.
  • Reviews below the selected rating will remain in a pending state and require manual approval.
  • Any changes made to the settings will apply only to new incoming reviews, not previously submitted ones.
  • You can update these settings at any time based on your review moderation strategy.
  • Regularly monitor pending reviews to address customer concerns and maintain transparency.
