Customize Site & Product Review Button On Store

Introduction

Customizing the Site and Product Review buttons helps you create a consistent and user-friendly experience across your store. By adjusting the button text, style, and placement, you can make it easier for customers to submit reviews while matching your brand’s look and feel. This not only improves usability but also encourages more customers to share their feedback, helping you build stronger social proof.



Follow the steps below to customize the site review button:




Step 2: Click on the Floating review button and either enable the Product review button or the Site review button pop-up.



Step 3: Modify the settings as per your requirement. Here are the available settings:

1. Review Type Selection

  • Choose what type of reviews customers can access from the button:
    • Product Reviews
    • Site Reviews
  • You can enable one or both options depending on your preference.

2. Button Label

  • Customize the text displayed on the button (e.g., Reviews).
  • This helps match your store’s tone and branding.

3. Hide Button on Mobile

  • Enable this option if you do not want the floating review button to appear on mobile devices.

4. Button Background Color

  • Set the background color of the button.
  • Choose a color that aligns with your store design.

5. Icon & Text Color

  • Customize the color of the icon and text inside the button for better visibility.

6. Reviews Per Page

  • Define how many reviews will be displayed when customers open the review panel.

7. Button Position

  • Select where the button should appear on the screen:
    • Left Side
    • Bottom Left
    • Bottom Right
    • Right Side
  • Choose a position that does not interfere with your store layout.

8. Vertical Offset

  • Adjust how high or low the button appears on the page using the slider.
  • This helps you fine-tune placement for a better user experience.

Note: You can also preview how the changes will appear on the right side.



Step 4: Click on Update Settings, and the changes will appear on your store within 15 minutes. If you want to check them instantly, click the View Changes button.




Once you change the settings, the updates will appear on the storefront.


Important Notes

  • Make sure to click Update Settings after making changes, otherwise, the updates will not be applied.
  • Changes may take up to 15 minutes to reflect on the storefront.
  • Use the View Changes option to preview updates instantly.
  • You can enable either Product Reviews, Site Reviews, or both based on your requirement.
  • Ensure the button position does not overlap with other elements on your store for a better user experience.
  • Use contrasting colors for the button background and text to maintain readability.
  • The Hide on Mobile option can be useful if the button affects mobile layout or usability.
  • Use the preview panel on the right side to check how the button will appear before saving.
