How to create a Email template in Workflow?

Introduction:

Creating an email template within a workflow allows you to automate and personalize your communication with customers at every stage of their journey. Instead of sending one-size-fits-all messages, you can design targeted emails that are triggered based on specific actions, conditions, or events. This helps improve engagement, save time, and ensure consistent messaging across your campaigns.

In this article, you’ll learn how to create and customize an email template directly within a workflow, so you can deliver the right message to the right audience at the right time.

Important Notes

  • Ensure your email template is fully customized before saving, including branding elements, content, and layout.
  • Always use dynamic shortcodes (e.g., customer name, order details) to personalize your emails and improve engagement.
  • Test your email template by sending a test email to yourself to verify design, links, and responsiveness.
  • Double-check all links, images, and call-to-action buttons to avoid broken or incorrect redirections.
  • Provide a clear and relevant email subject line, as it directly impacts open rates.
  • If using UTM parameters, ensure they are correctly configured for accurate tracking in analytics tools.
  • Save your template properly—unsaved changes may be lost.
  • Once saved, the template will be available in the Email Message section and can be reused across multiple workflows.
  • Avoid overly heavy designs or large images, as they may affect email loading speed and deliverability.
