Create a Email template using an HTML editor

Introduction

The HTML editor allows you to create fully custom email campaigns with complete control over design and layout. It’s ideal for users who want to use their own HTML code, import existing templates, or apply advanced styling beyond the standard email editor. By using the HTML editor, you can build highly customized campaigns while ensuring your emails match your brand and design requirements.Here are the steps to create a campaign using an HTML editor


Here are the steps to create a campaign using an email editor:

Step 1: Go to Email marketing >> Campaign >> Click on the Create from scratch button.



Step 2: Click on the Code view button.

Step 3: Edit the HTML code as per your need.


Step 4: Click on the CSS button to edit the CSS.




Step 5: Click on Save & exit



You can now send the email template built using the code editor in an email campaign.


Important Notes

  • The HTML editor is intended for users with HTML and CSS knowledge; incorrect code may affect email rendering.

  • Ensure that the correct personalized tags like - {{full_name}} is added.

  • Avoid using JavaScript or external scripts.

  • Always use inline CSS for better compatibility across different email clients.

  • Images used in the HTML must be hosted on a publicly accessible URL.

  • Keep the total email size optimized to avoid clipping in some inboxes (such as Gmail).

  • Some CSS properties may not render consistently across all email clients; always test thoroughly.

  • Use the Preview and Send Test Email options to verify layout and styling before sending.

  • Changes made in the code editor apply only to the current campaign and do not affect previously sent emails.

  • Make sure all links and tracking parameters are correct before saving and sending the campaign.

  • Save your changes frequently to prevent accidental data loss.
