The Date Property Trigger in workflow automation allows you to create time-based customer journeys using important dates such as birthdays, anniversaries, signup dates, and order-related milestones. By leveraging this feature, you can automatically send relevant and timely messages without manual effort.

In this article, you’ll get a quick overview of how the Date Property Trigger works and how you can use it to build targeted workflows that improve engagement, enhance customer experience, and drive better results.


To use this trigger, create a manual workflow, then drag the trigger into the workflow area, and click on it to configure it.



This trigger has 4 parts:

  1. Birthday or Anniversary: Use this option to automatically send an email greeting to your customer on their birthdays or anniversaries. To learn more, click here.
  2. Created Date: Use this option to automatically email customers who registered for an account on a certain date or within a certain range.
  3. First Order Date: Use this option to automatically email customers whose first order was on a certain date or within a certain range.
  4. Last order Date: Use this option to automatically email customers whose last order was on a certain date or within a certain range.
