Update Text and Language in the Reviews Widget

Introduction

Customizing the text and language of your Reviews Widget allows you to better align it with your brand voice and improve the customer experience. By updating labels, messages, and display language, you can ensure clarity for your audience while maintaining consistency across your store. This feature helps you tailor how review content is presented, making it more engaging and relevant to your customers.

Here are the steps to edit the language for Review:

Step 1: Go to Product Reviews >> Settings >> Edit Language

Automatically populate translated text

Now you can quickly translate the language settings with a single click on your preferred language. Additionally, you can reset to the default language anytime you want. The available languages are:

1. English
   
2. Vietnamese
3. Arabic
   
4. French
   
5. German
   
6. Italian
   
7. Spanish
   
8. Japanese
   
9. Chinese
   
   

Note: Ensure to save any changes made to language settings. Kindly note that any customizations made to the prior language will be lost if you switch to other language settings.

Manually add translated text

Step 1: From here, you can edit the language. Simply fill in the boxes corresponding to the English words in your preferred language.

Step 2: When done, click Save / Update to save your changes.

Important Notes

• Always click Save / Update after making changes to ensure your edits are applied.
• When switching to a different language, any previously customized text in another language may be overwritten or lost.
• The auto-translate option provides a quick setup, but it’s recommended to review the translations for accuracy.
• Manual edits allow better control over tone and context, especially for brand-specific messaging.
• Ensure all fields are properly filled to avoid missing or inconsistent text in the Reviews Widget.
• Changes made in language settings will reflect across the Reviews Widget on your storefront.
• You can switch back to the default language anytime if needed.
