Get a list of customers with Bounced or Non-bounced Emails/SMS

Introduction

Keeping track of email and SMS delivery status is essential for maintaining a healthy contact list and improving campaign performance. Identifying customers with bounced or non-bounced Emails/SMS helps you clean your database, protect your sender reputation, and ensure your messages reach the right audience. In this article, you’ll learn how to easily generate a list of customers based on their email or SMS bounce status, allowing you to take informed actions and optimize your communication strategy.

Here are the steps to get a list of Bounced and Non-bounced emails:



Step 2: Click on Create segment >>  Add Filter, then search for "bounce". If you want to check email bounces, select Email Bounce, otherwise, select SMS Bounce.



Step 3: If you want to check bounced email, click on is bounced else, click on isn't bounced.

Note: Once, you add the filter. click on menu icon and select the bounce details.



Now, click on Apply filter, and you will get the list of all the bounced/Non-bounced lists.




Idea
Note: While sending a campaign, AiTrillion will automatically exclude all customers whose emails have previously bounced, been marked as spam (complaints), or unsubscribed in past campaigns.


Important Notes:

  1. The bounce filter works separately for Email and SMS, so make sure you select the correct option (Email Bounce or SMS Bounce) while creating the segment.
  2. “Is bounced” will show customers whose emails/SMS failed to deliver, while “Isn’t bounced” will show customers with a successful delivery status.
  3. Always click Apply Filter after adding the condition to generate the correct list.
  4. Bounce status is based on delivery reports received from the email/SMS provider and may update automatically over time.
  5. Hard-bounced emails are permanently invalid and should not be used in future campaigns to protect your sender reputation.
  6. Before launching a campaign, review the filtered list to ensure accuracy and avoid sending messages to invalid contacts.
  7. AiTrillion automatically excludes bounced, spam-complaint, and unsubscribed contacts from campaigns to maintain compliance and improve deliverability.
  8. Regularly cleaning bounced contacts helps maintain a healthy database and improves overall campaign performance.
