Add Additional Input Fields to the Affiliate Registration Page

Introduction

Enhancing your customer account page with additional input fields allows you to collect more personalized and meaningful information directly from your customers. These fields can be used to gather preferences, capture important details, and improve how you segment and engage with your audience.

With AiTrillion, you can easily add custom input fields to the customer account page, enabling customers to enter or update their own information. This helps you keep your data up to date while creating more tailored experiences across your marketing campaigns and workflows.

In this article, you’ll learn how to add and configure additional input fields on the customer account page, along with best practices to ensure a smooth and effective setup.

Note: If you want to show the fields in the Affiliate registration form, ensure that the Affiliate program module is enabled, and the setup must have been done.

Here are the steps to add additional input fields to the customer account page:

Step 1: Go to Customers >> Custom fields >> click on the Create button.




Step 2: Enable the checkbox - Show in customer account and set up the settings as per your needs. There are a few settings, which are as follows:
  1. Label name - Name of the custom field.
  2. Select type - Select the type of the field that you want to map.
  3. Select filter group - Select the filter group where you would like the field to appear on the Customers page.
  4. Enable meta field sync - Enable the settings to set up the sync between AiTrillion and Shopify. To learn more, click here.
  5. Map with Shopify's note attribute using a key-value format - Map the fields in key: value format.
  6. Map with Shopify's note attribute as one continuous string - Map the fields with one continuous string.
  7. Show in customer account  - Enable the settings if you want to show the custom field in the customer account. 
  8. Show in affiliate dashboard (Required) - Enable the settings if you want to show the custom field in the affiliate dashboard of the customer account.



Step 3: Click on the Save button.



Now, the custom field will be visible to the customers.
