Introduction

A Membership QR Card is a digital membership card that contains a unique QR code and membership ID for each customer. It allows members to easily identify themselves and access their membership information directly from their customer account. The QR code can be scanned by the store owner or staff to quickly verify a customer's membership, making it easier to provide membership benefits, discounts, exclusive access, or other member-only services. Since the card is digital, customers can access it anytime without needing a physical membership card. How Does It Work?

  1. A customer purchases or is assigned a membership plan.
  2. A unique membership ID is generated for the customer.
  3. A digital Membership QR Card becomes available on the configured membership card page.
  4. The customer can open the card from their account.
  5. The store owner or staff can scan the QR code to verify the customer's membership before providing membership benefits or services.

Notes
Note: The membership QR code will be displayed on the storefront only if the Customer Account module is enabled and properly configured.

Here are the steps to enable the QR code on your store:




Step 2: Copy the template code and go to your Shopify store



Step 3: Go to Online store >> click on the 3 dots and click on Edit code.



Step 4: Click on Templates >> click on the Create icon >> give the name to the file, for example - page.membership-card.liquid, paste the copied code and click on Save.
NotesNote: You can change the code according to your needs if you would like to change Text, color, or background color.



Step 5:  Now, go back to Online store >> Pages >> Add pages 



Step 6: Now, select the template membership-card, mark the page as Visible, and click on Save.



Now, after purchasing the membership, customers will be able to see the  QR code in their customer account. You can either Download the QR code or Print Card.



If you click on Print Card, you will be able to see the details with the membership.
