Setup Trending Product recommendations on your Shopify Store

Introduction

Trending products can be displayed on the homepage, in the navigation menu, or in a dedicated section of the website, and they can help customers to see which products are currently in demand and popular on the website.

Here are the steps to setup trending product recommendations:

Step 1. Head over to Product Recommendations> Trending Products

Step 2. Make your settings in the screen that appears, choose the page(s) you want to display trending product recommendations on, and click save / update. Ensure that the flick switch is set to the 'On' Position.

Note📝:
1.) After saving the settings, it may take some time for the product to appear in the trending products list.

2.) If you don't add the page where you want to display the recommendation, it won't be visible on the storefront.

Step 3: Now to adjust the design or look, You can go to Product recommendation >> Layout settings, change the settings according to your needs, and click on Update.

Now, there are 2 options available to show the Trending products recommendations on front end.

1.) If App Block is available on your theme.

2.) If App Block is not available on your theme.

Now, Go to Shopify admin >> Online store >> Customize >> Add section >> Trending product gallery and click on Save.

2.) If App block is not available on your theme

If you want to show your Trending product recommendations in a custom place or on a custom page or if app block is not available on theme, feel free to copy and paste this code where you want the recommendations to appear.

To copy the code go to Product recommendation >> Trending products and copy the code <div id="aiotrendingproducts" class="aiotrendingproducts"></div>

Now, the Trending products recommendation will be visible to the front store.
