Send WhatsApp Forms via Campaigns or Workflows for Customer Data Collection
Introduction
WhatsApp Forms allow you to collect customer information, feedback, registrations, survey responses, and more directly within WhatsApp conversations. By adding a Call-to-Action (CTA) button to your WhatsApp campaigns or automated workflows, you can seamlessly direct customers to complete a form without leaving the chat experience.
In this article, you will learn how to send WhatsApp Forms through campaigns or workflows with a CTA button, helping you increase customer engagement, simplify data collection, and automate follow-up actions based on form submissions.
Step 2: Click the Add button, and under Type of Action, select Open Form.
Step 3: From the Form dropdown menu, select the form that you want to send to customers through a campaign or workflow.
Step 4: Once you have finished editing and finalized the template, click Save and ask for approval.
Now, you can use the WhatsApp template in a workflow or campaign. Customers will receive the WhatsApp message containing an image, product, or text along with a form that they can open and submit.

- Only approved WhatsApp templates can be used in campaigns and workflows.
- The Open Form CTA button must be configured while creating or editing the WhatsApp template.
- Ensure that the selected form is active and properly configured before sending the WhatsApp message.
