Using the Email Design Editor for order summary emails in AiTrillion allows you to customize how order details are presented to your customers. You can design clear, professional, and brand-consistent order summary emails that include product details, pricing, and order information. This article explains how to use the email design editor to create and manage order summary emails effectively, ensuring a better post-purchase experience for your customers.

Notes
Note: The order summary block will only be used in Workflow.

Here are the steps to use the order summary in an email template:

Step 2: Click on the Create from Scratch button.

Step 3: Click on the Blocks tab, drag and drop the order summary block to the design editor.

Step 4: As soon as you add the block to the design area, the order summary shortcodes will be added and sent to the customers after placing the order.

Step 5: The settings of the block can be modified by clicking on that block.

Step 6: Remember to check a preview, send a test, and save when done.

Now, customers will receive their order summary in an email.

Important Notes:

  • The Order Summary block is only supported within workflows, and cannot be used in regular campaigns.
  • Ensure you are using the correct trigger (e.g., Order Placed) so that order details are available in the email.
  • The order summary content is populated using dynamic shortcodes, so avoid removing or modifying them incorrectly.
  • Always preview and test the email to verify that order details (products, pricing, totals) are displayed correctly.
  • Customize the design of the order summary block to match your brand style and layout.
  • Double-check all pricing details, product information, and totals to ensure accuracy.
  • Make sure the email template is properly saved and connected to the workflow.
  • Ensure the workflow is active, and customers will not receive the order summary email.
  • Avoid heavy customization that may break the structure of the order summary block.
  • This feature is best used for transactional emails such as order confirmations and updates.
