How To Filter Customers?

Introduction:

Filtering customers helps you quickly find and organize specific groups within your customer database based on selected criteria. Whether you want to target high-value buyers, inactive customers, recent subscribers, or customers with specific attributes, using filters allows you to segment your audience efficiently.

With customer filtering, you can apply conditions such as purchase behavior, engagement activity, tags, custom fields, email status, and more. This makes it easier to create targeted campaigns, improve personalization, and enhance overall marketing performance.

Here are the steps to filter customers:




Step 2. Click on Create segment >> Add Filter and then choose a filter. Once done, click on Apply filter.

NotesNote: You can choose more than one filter at a time. After filtering, the button Save Segment will appear.




You can save this filter segment as a predefined segment for later use it in a campaign or workflow.




Important Notes:

  1. You can apply multiple filters at the same time to create more refined and targeted customer groups.
  2. Always click Apply Filter to view the updated customer list before saving the segment.
  3. After applying filters, the Save Segment button will appear so you can reuse the filtered audience later.
  4. Filtered segments are dynamic, meaning customers will automatically enter or exit the segment based on the selected conditions.
  5. Review the total customer count after applying filters to ensure the results match your expectations.
  6. Use clear and descriptive names when saving segments for easier identification in future campaigns.
  7. Filters can be used for email campaigns, SMS marketing, automation workflows, and targeted promotions.
  8. If no customers appear after applying filters, double-check the selected conditions and filter values.
  9. Avoid creating too many similar segments to keep your customer database organized.
