How To Enable Two-Step Authentication in AiTrillion

Two-Step Authentication is a type of multi-factor authentication (MFA) that strengthens access security by requiring two methods (authentication factors) to verify your identity. Use this feature on your AiTrillion account today!

  • In AiTrillion, now you can use the 2-Factor Authentication set up to add an extra layer of security and protection to your AiTrillion account.
  • It’s called 2 steps verification or multi-factor authentication as it requires extra validation when you log in to your AiTrillion account.
  • Other than email, you can add your mobile number to provide extra security to your account.

Note – Before setting it up you should save all of the backup authentication codes provided in it. These allow you to access your account if you forget your password. However, you cannot view them after you set up two-step authentication and exit from there.

 

Step 1. Login to AiTrillion.

Step 2.  Hover on the profile icon and click on the Two-Step Authentication menu.


Step 3. A popup will open. Click on the Enable button.


Note – Here are 2 options to authenticate your account.

SMS Delivery and Authenticator App

You can choose any one option and click on the Next button.


SMS Delivery:

(i) – You need to choose the country code and fill in your mobile number in the given field and click on the send OTP button.

 

(ii) – You will receive a 6 digit code on the given mobile number.

Enter the OTP in the given field and click on the Verify OTP button.

Note – Now, keep the backup codes in a safe place and click on the Done button.

The SMS Delivery method is saved to your account as a Two-Step Authentication.

Now, when you log in to the AiTrillion again then you need to use your email address and password then a 6 digit code as OTP to access it.

Authenticator App:

(i) – First, you need to install a mobile app according to your mobile OS ( Android or iPhone )

(ii) – Then you need to configure it according to step 2 shown in the popup.

(iii) – Enter the 6 digit code (showing in the app) in the given field and click on the Verify Code button.

Note – Now, keep the backup codes in a safe place and click on the Done button.

The Authenticator App method is saved to your account as a Two-Step Authentication.

Now, when you log in to the AiTrillion again then you need to use your email address and password then a 6 digit code as shown in the app to access it.

 

You can always change or disable the method from the settings. Just mouse hover on the profile icon and click on the Two-Step Authentication menu.
