How Customer Can Update their Card At Frontend? (Membership V1)

Introduction

This article is helpful if you need to update an existing card or add a new one. In this article, we will learn how to update the credit card information on the front end.

Here are the steps to update the card details:

Step 1: After a successful subscription, they will have to log in to their account from the Shopify login page as a Member.

Step 2: After login, they will be able to see the Membership plan details on the My Account page.

Step 3: In order to update their Credit Card, they need to click on Update Card.

Step 4: Post clicking on Update Card they need to Enter their Credit Card details ( Card #, Expiry Date & CVV ) and Click on Update Card.

Note📝:

1.) Once the card is declined, there are 3 retrys by default from Stripe's end depending upon the Stripe settings

2.) Charge will be automatically applied to the new card once the card has been changed
