Exclude product taxes, duties, and discounts from the affiliate’s sale commission calculation

Introduction

Affiliate commissions should always reflect genuine revenue earned from a sale. Enabling the option to exclude product taxes, duties, and discounts ensures that commissions are calculated only on the net product amount. This helps avoid inflated commission payouts, keeps financial reporting accurate, and protects your store from unnecessary commission costs. It is highly recommended for stores offering frequent discounts or operating in regions with variable tax structures. In this article, you will learn to exclude product taxes, duties, and discounts from the Affiliate's commission.

Here are the steps to exclude the product taxes, duties, and discounts from the  Affiliate's sale commission calculation:

Step 2: Go to the Commission settings tab and enable the settings according to your needs, and click on Update.
Exclude product tax & duties – Enabling this option removes product taxes and duties from the commission calculation. Affiliates will receive commission only on the product’s base price, ensuring accurate and fair commission payouts.
Exclude discount – When enabled, any applied product discounts are excluded from the commissionable sale amount. The affiliate will earn commission based only on the final product price after discount removal.

Now, the commission will be assigned to the customers without a discount or without including the product tax and duties amount.
