Collect Product Reviews with Dedicated Review Links

Collect Product Reviews with Dedicated Review Links

Introduction

Collecting reviews normally requires customers to visit your store, find the product, and leave feedback — and most don't take those extra steps, which means you miss out on valuable social proof. Review links solve this: you create a public link for the exact products you want reviewed and share it anywhere — social media, email, SMS, campaigns, or direct messages. Anyone who opens the link can submit a review in one step, without navigating your store. You can name each link for easy management, pause or activate it anytime, and track how many reviews each link has collected. In this article, you'll learn how to create a review link, manage it, and see what your customers experience.

Step 1: Log in to your AiTrillion account and, from the left-hand menu, go to [Product reviews >> Collect reviews >> Review requests]. The Review requests page opens with several tabs across the top. Click the Ask for review tab — this is where all your review links are created and managed. The page description explains it simply: share a link to collect reviews on the products you choose, and anyone who opens it can leave a review.

Step 2: Click the Create review link button on the right side of the page. The first time you visit, the list below shows "No data available" — once you create links, each one appears here as a row with its name, products, link URL, reviews collected, status, and created date.

Step 3: The Create review link window opens. Fill in the details:

Link name — give the link a name you'll recognise later, for example Summer Collection Reviews. The name is only for your reference — customers never see it — so name it after the campaign or product launch it belongs to.
Select products — click the field and type at least three characters of a product name to search your store's catalogue. You can select one product or several; every selected product will appear on the same public review page.
Link is active — keep this toggle on so the link starts accepting reviews as soon as it's created. You can pause it later at any time without losing the reviews already collected.

When everything is filled in, click the Create link button.

Step 4: Your new link appears in the list, and the Total counter updates. Each row gives you everything you need to manage the link:

Link — the public URL. Click the copy icon next to it to copy the link to your clipboard, ready to share.
Status — the toggle pauses or re-activates the link. A paused link stops accepting new reviews, but keeps everything already collected.
Reviews collected — a live count of how many reviews this link has generated, so you can measure each campaign's performance.
Action — the edit icon lets you rename the link or change its products; the delete icon removes it.

What Customers See

Share the copied link through social media, email, SMS, campaigns, or messages. Anyone who opens it lands on a public review page listing your selected products — no login or store navigation needed. For each product, the customer taps the stars to give a rating, writes a title and review, optionally uploads a photo or video, adds their name and email, and clicks Submit review. If loyalty rewards are enabled, the page also shows the points they'll earn for reviewing.

Note:
1. Pausing a link stops it from accepting new reviews, but reviews already collected are kept.
2. If loyalty rewards are enabled for reviews, the public page automatically shows the points customers earn for a review, photo, or video upload.
3. Reviews submitted through a link appear under [Product reviews >> Manage reviews], where you can moderate and publish them.

💡 Idea: Create a separate link for each campaign or product launch — the per-link Reviews collected count instantly shows which channel brings you the most reviews.
