When a customer cancels an order, it's essential to manage their reward points appropriately to maintain the integrity of your loyalty program. Reverting points on order cancellation ensures that points awarded for a purchase are deducted if the transaction does not go through. This process helps prevent any misuse of the reward system and keeps the point balances accurate.
Here are the steps to revert points on an order cancellation:
Step 1: Go to Loyalty rewards >> Set up program >> Earn points
Step 2: Click on Make a purchase and click on Additional settings
Step 3: Enable the Revert points on order cancellation button
Now the points will be reverted automatically on order cancellation
