Use the Discount Code Generator

Introduction

In this article, we'll explore the details of using the Discount Code Generator, empowering you to leverage this tool effectively and maximize your sales potential.

Here are the steps to use the discount code generator:

Step 1: Go to Email Marketing > Discount Codes.

Step 2: Click on Create in the top right corner.

Step 3: Now, you will get two options:

1.) Bulk discount generator - This will generate the coupon after saving the settings, but it will expire on the set date after the code is generated.

2.) Real-time discount generation - This will create the discount code in real time, so the code will be generated when the emails sent.

Step 4: Make your settings and set up restrictions as needed, and click on the Add Coupon button in the bottom left. This has now created your placeholder.

Step 5: Go back to the Discounts code screen. Click here to go to coupon settings. Click on the three dots and then on Add Codes to add the total number of codes for this placeholder.

Step 6: Input the number and click on the Submit button.

Note: Ensure that the number of codes generated exceeds the number of recipients.

Note: It will take time (2–3 minutes) to generate the discount codes. You can check the number by refreshing the page.

Created codes will be visible in the Shopify Discount section, too.
